Screening is the process of identifying people who have no symptoms but may be at increased risk of a disease or condition.

If you have any symptoms that you feel may be caused by any of the below conditions regardless of whether you have been regularly participating in the screening programmes please book an appointment with your GP

There are a number of national screening programmes in Scotland including:

Screening programmes are designed to detect early signs of a disease or condition and to provide referral and treatment where necessary

Screening invitations are sent to the patient’s address that is registered with their GP so make sure you keep your address information up to date and let us know if you move house
